Glendale City Council Candidates Put to Glendale Gun Show Test

The Coalition for a Better Glendale has initiated a survey of the candidates for the Glendale City Council on the issue of the Glendale Gun Show.

Among other things, the candidates have been asked if they would defend and uphold council actions taken in 2013 that effectively ended the Glendale Gun Show’s run at the city-owned Glendale Civic Auditorium.

Results of the survey will be posted here prior to the June 3 election.

The Coalition is a grassroots group of neighbors, homeowners, voters, parents and more who found each other in the wake of the Newtown massacre, and who helped lead the fight to end the city’s formal affiliation with the gun show.
