Tonight’s the night.
The City Council is expected to formally adopt the ordinance banning the sale and possession of guns and ammunition on city property.
Last week, the council, by a 3-2 vote, canceled the Glendale Civic Auditorium’s contract with the Glendale Gun Show.
The Glendale Gun Show, which in its current form had been held at the city-owned Civic since 1992, was the last gun show on public property in Los Angeles County.
The bottom line on all this?
If tonight goes as expected, there won’t be any public property in Glendale for the Glendale Gun Show to go to, hence this message on the business’ Website:
“At this time we do not have any shows scheduled for the Glendale Gun Show in the Glendale area. Thank you for all of your support.”
Thank you for all your support, too.
